Description
Here are The Stone Roses with their self-titled, eponymous first LP The Stone Roses.
Please note that the disc weighs only 94g and is quite flimsy. In the late '80s, record companies wanted people to switch to CDs, and a lot of vinyl pressings from this era are not of great quality; in some cases, they are of very poor quality indeed. Luckily, this album actually sounds great, despite being pressed on lightweight vinyl.
By comparison, my second-press '89-8' copy weighs 100g, and my 180g copy weighs 180g.
It would be many years before a 180g version was pressed.
This is the one* that, according to Discogs, has several differences to all other UK vinyl issues.
To wit:
- The front sleeve is a lighter shade.
- The rear band photo is very dark.
- The stripes on the left are printed over the black border.
- The embossed letters are in a slightly higher position
- The slice of lemon that forms the 'O" in 'ROSES' is in a different position to the slice of lemon on other UK vinyl issues.

VINYL
The vinyl is in EX- condition, with just a few light lines visible on side 2, and none visible on side 1.

SLEEVE
The sleeve is in EX- condition, with some very light ringwear. The spine is square with no splits, and all spine text is clearly visible.
INNER SLEEVE
The inner is in EX+ condition, with no seam splits or other detrimental issues e.g. rips, stains, writing, stickers, sticker residue etc.
UK postage is via RM's Tracked 48 service at £3.39
International shipping is via ebay's Global Shipping service.
Postage to the global distribution centre in the UK is £3.39, as above; after that, I have no idea what they charge and it will depend on your location.
