The Spiders – Self-titled (aka “Bitter for My Taste”) EP (orig. Australia PHILIPS MONO PE 34)

Australian Release date: Late 1966 (estimated).

 

On offer here is an ULTRA RARE original PHILIPS issue of the only Australian EP by THE SPIDERS, who were a vocal beat combo from Tokyo often referred to as THE BEATLES OF JAPAN.  Side 1 is sung in English, while Side 2 is sung in their native language.  All EP cuts first appeared on their Japanese debut album called “Album No. 1” (April 1966).

back: VG(+) flipback—matt finish with glossy appearance: ring-wear (inner rim), surface rubbing + minor spotting.

Record:

visual: EX+ beautiful glossy sheen—hard to fault, few completely insignificant hairlines only (seen under strong light).

audible: M- SOUNDS SUPERBA HIGHLY ENJOYABLE LISTENING EXPERIENCE!

labels: HARDLY ANY SPINDLE WEAR.
