THE SPENCER DAVIS GROUP Autumn ’66 FONTANA LP Mono TL5359!
Original UK LP, with laminated front sleeve and back sleeve flip over edges, includes the original British Patent paper/poly lined inner sleeve, released in 1966, on the FONTANA record label, catalogue number TL5359 (Mono).
Matrix Numbers Read:
A-side: 687397 1L//1 * 420 (*denotes triangle symbol)
B-side: 687397 2L * 1 420 (*denotes triangle symbol)
Sleeve: VERY GOOD+ CONDITION
Solid complete attractive sleeve, displays some light partial record sleeve ring wear, with a touch of laminate dulling in places, has a few small laminate lifts/creases (mainly on the spine edge), small 8mms record insert edge tear (just to the right of the top of the 6) and the back sleeve is a lightly soiled in places owing to age and handling. Spine print is clear, fully legible and intact. Sleeve displays no other rips/tears, no edge wear, no seem splits and no sleeve creases. The original paper/poly lined inner record sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition, displays some browning owing to age, has a small top edge seem split and corner creases are evident.
Record: VERY GOOD+ CONDITION (*Plays mostly EXCELLENT)
Original textured record labels are in EXCELLENT condition, clean with no damage, displays some light traces of spindle hole trail sheen marks on both sides. Playing surfaces and matrix areas retain the full original lustre on both sides, displays one small soft feather light visible surface scuff/mark on the first track at 7 o’clock on the B-side and some barely visible soft feather light, hairline/fine line surface scuffs, which mainly only show up/appear when angled and viewed closely under a strong bright light. Graded visually as VERY GOOD+. *Record play mostly EXCELLENT on both sides, emitting mainly a good clean sound with no loud or noticeable background crackles or clicks, does have some low level background crackles/clicks in places, however this is not consistent throughout play.
