This is A RARE UK PUNK / DIY TEST PRESSING single by THE SOFT BOYS from 1983, ORIGINAL NEAR MINT TEST PRESSING AND A MUST !!!
This single is rare enough to find, but I have NEVER SEEN AN ORIGINAL TEST PRESSING OF IT, WELL HERE IS ONE NEAR MINT CONDITION COPY !!!
The SOFT BOYS of course included the genius like Robyn Hitchcock, so this is a must for collectors of PUNK / DIY / SOFT BOYS and ROBYN HOTCHCOCK !!!
The TEST PRESSING was pressed in 1983 by ISS (Immediate Sound Services Limited) in North London.
The test pressing has the serated edge and the dead was matrix is: SIDE A: DING 4A / 'REPTILES KEEP SWIMMING' / A PORKY PRIME CUT. and on SIDE B: DING 4 B1*.
The single was eventually released on Midnight Music Records with the catalogue number DING 4, but this TEST PRESSING was done way before the official release to test the quality of sound !!!
The track are: HE'S A REPTILE / SONG No. 4.
This TEST PRESSING never came in a P/S as it was pressed way before the normal issue was ready, and the condition of the VINYL is MINT- (PLAYED ONCE !!!).
