THE SMITHS

THE QUEEN IS DEAD

25 RTL-3015

ORIGINAL ROUGH TRADE 1986 WITH OBI.

THIS IS SO RARE, THE FACT ITS IN MINT UNPLAYED CONDITION IS AMAZING.

Japanese vinyl releases are premium quality pressings, much sought after by audiophiles and collectors alike. In the 1960s Toshiba pioneered top quality red vinyl pressings using their trademark ‘Ever-Clean’ process this utilised a special ingredient intended to prevent the build-up of static electricity on the vinyl. Japanese pressings are synonymous with quality - the vinyl shines like no other vinyl - everything about their releases feels special.

THIS IS THE ORGINAL 1986 TOKUMA RELEASE, I HAVE DEALT WITH MANY OF YOU BEFORE AND I FEEL I DONT NEED GIVE THIS ANYMORE INTRODUCTION AS YOUR AN INTELLIGENT BREED AND KNOW WHAT YOUR LOOKING AT.

THE VINYL IS MINT, UNPLAYED...THE SLEEVE IS MINT..THE PINK LYRICS BOOKLET HAS SOME CREASES BUT NO RIPS AND IM BEING VERY STRICT ON THIS.

WILL A TOKUMA 1986 ORIGINAL COME ALONG AGAIN IN THIS CONDITION...MAYBE...IVE SEEN THREE IN TWENTY YEARS.

MINT:

The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or distortion in sound quality. The cover and any extras items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be mint

EXCELLENT:

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the ocassional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.

GOOD:

The record has been played so much that the sound quality is noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding., scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
