Description

CRISP early pressing of fourth studio album by The Smiths - bought by me when released and kept with care ever since.
Glossy outer cover - with "The Smiths" raised by embossing (only done with first pressing) - printed inner sleeve and both sides of vinyl are all rated as in very good+ condition or better.
Just a little light shelf wear/creasing around outside edges of cover - consistent with age and regular playing when released in 1987 - corners are still really good and artist/album name clearly visible along the spine. Both faces are free of significant dings/dents and absolutely no writing or rips etc. Conservatively rated as very good+.
Printed semi-gloss card inner sleeve - with lyrics on both sides - is excellent, with crisp corners and edges.
Black and grey Smiths/Rough Trade paper labels are near-perfect apart with just a few light spindle marks around the centre.
Vinyl has a few surface marks/very light scratches - some consistent with being pulled in and out of the inner sleeve, others not - but is in generally very good+ condition and retains most of its original gloss. Passed play test with flying colours.
"ROUGH 106 A-2U-1-1 T10" stamped and "GUY FAWKES WAS A GENIUS" etched into A side runout with ROUGH 106 B-2U-1-1 TY1" stamped into B side runout. 
Side one tracks: A Rush And A Push And The Land Is Ours, I Started Something I Couldn't Finish, Death Of A Disco Dancer, Girlfriend In A Coma, Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before. Side two: Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me, Unhappy Birthday, Paint A Vulgar Picture, Death At One's Elbow, I Won't Share You.
