Description
This auction is for a USED 1984 US first issue of The Smiths debut self-titled album The Smiths.
Vinyl: Very good+ condition, minor scuffing and scratches can be seen on both sides under bright light.
One scuff mark extends through the first songs 1-3 on side 2 (see pic 8).
One stain mark (age?) can be found on the label under "THE SMITHS: on side 2.
Tested: both sides of this LP play well and sound great.
Jacket: Good+ condition, retains nice color, minor creases and wear/scuffing/scratches on both sides.
There is a 1.5" scrape mark on the lower front edge near the binding.
Wear can be seen along the edges of the top corner of the jacket.
Inner Sleeve: Good+ condition, scratches/creases on sleeve.
There are crease marks on the sleeve; one in the upper left corner and one in the lower left corner (see pic 5).
A 6" split in the seam can be found next to the picture of Matt Joyce.
There is a slight discoloration (age stain) on the front left side (just under the picture of Morrissey) seen under bright light.

All records are packaged well in sturdy cardboard record mailers, with cardboard inserts added, as needed, to protect this item during shipping.
The record is removed from the jacket to prevent splitting/damage to jacket, gatefold and inner sleeve.
The jacket will be placed in plastic poly sleeve.
The vinyl will be placed in a standard record sleeve and packed away from the LP jacket to provide added protection during shipping.
Shipping is calculated based upon the packaged size of 13 x 13 x 1 and weight of 1 lb.
All items come from a smoke free and pet free home.
