This record is in excellent- condition. It has spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or fading. There is a little wear around the centre holes but these are not loose and overall the labels are in good shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides free from anything deep or serious but have a few light lines and mild signs of use visible in normal light. These are not remotely deep, are thin and minor but can be seen in normal light. There are a few more incredibly light wispy lines visible under very bright white light and also a small area of 'mottling' near the edge of side 2 and some very minor, very mild signs of groove wear. So overall a used record free from anything serious, that has a lovely shine, but has a few slight superficial lines/marks and some mild signs of use to either side.
I play tested the record and it plays really well. It lays flat, there is little to no movement in the record arm upon playing and the sound produced is excellent throughout with minimal interference and no serious issues at all. The vast majority of the record has no surface noise audible with just a hint in the run in and between some tracks. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable play test with audio of high quality and free of any major issues such as skips, sticks or disruptive clicks.
The sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has a small amount of rubbing/wear to the edges and corners(pics), but they are all strong with no splits and the majority of the text on the spine is still legible. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere, but there is some age related scuffing/scraping to both sides. There is also some minor creases emanating from then edges and some indentations in places. These indentations are fairly minor but there are 'pen indentations' visible on the rear when tilted. So overall a solid sleeve with no major issues but some light age related wear and minor superficial issues as mentioned. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on the sleeves condition.
It contains its original lyrics/picture inner which is in very good condition. It appears in decent condition with no tears or pen marks and only minor creasing to the flipbacks. There is however a 2" split on the left edge and some mild wear to the other edges. So overall it appears decent as I say but is weakening in places. I will therefore send the record in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure no further damage occurs to the original.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
