This is a RARE AND UNIQUE ORIGINAL UK SOLID CENTRE / ROUGH TRADE TEST PRESSING BY THE SMITHS / MORRISSEY from 1985 entitled "SHAKESPEARE'S SISTER", ORIGINAL UK ROUGH TRADE SOLID CENTRE TEST PRESSING IN NEAR MINT CONDITION !!!
This is also the rarer SOLID CENTRE TEST PRESSING and as can be seen in the photos comes with HAND STICKERED LABELS with an A in a circle stamped on side 1, and a B in a circle and 45 in a circle also stamped !!!
The single came out on ROUGH TRADE RECORDS catalogue number RT 181. The matrix numbers are: SIDE 1: RT-181-A and LYN -15655-1C -Z and "HOME IS WHERE THE ART IS" (ETCHED), SIDE 2: RT-181-B and LYN-15656-1C Z and TIMTOM and WOS etched. It also comes with the ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE with the PROMOTER’S STICKER including his NAME AND CONTACT numbers stuck to the back, it is of course the late great Scott Piering who also managed THE SMITHS earlier in their career !!!
The tracks are: SHAKESPEARE'S SISTER / WHAT SHE SAID.
The condition of the VINYL is EX+++/ NEAR MINT (LOOKS UNPLAYED, minor sleeve scuffs only keep away from MINT !!!) + PROMO STICKERED PICTURE SLEEVE is in EX+++ condition (WITH promoters sticker on the back) !!!
DON'T LET THIS RARE AND UNIQUE THE SMITHS / MORRISSEY TEST PRESSING 7" SINGLE get away as you will NEVER see another one especially in this near mint condition.
MOST OF THESE SINGLES COME IN NEAR MINT / PLAYED ONCE CONDITION !!! PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER THE SMITHS / MORRISSEY PROMO / TEST PRESSING ITEMS LISTED THIS WEEK !!!
