Description

Welcome to Heart of Wax - Vinyl online record shop. I shall endeavour to post up as many exciting records up here that I find. Usually all from private collections which I've sourced. I'm happy to post out records to all you lovely people of the United Kingdom. Generally each record is secondhand and has been played. All have been cleaned and listened to by myself. And if there are any faults or defects, I will provide them in an honest description below.

THE SMITHS - HATFUL OF HOLLOW

First press from 1984 with inner sleeve. Sticker on front. Harrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve. Rough 76 A1/B3

Tracks lifted straight from John Peel 1983 Sessions & David Jensen Show Sessions. Also littered with various other singles.

Not just a hastily cobbled together LP. The Smiths treated singles as singular entities. When you've got songs as exciting as 'William, It Was Really Nothing,' 'Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now' and 'Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want' why wouldn't you create an album to fit them neatly onto. A marvellous piece of work that fizzes and snaps from start to end.

CONDITION

Sleeve - VG - a few scuffs and a pinhole mark in top right corner. Tiny amount of water damage to bottom right on reverse but now I'm just being picky.

LP - VG+ - very clean. Almost NM. No visible marks, well looked after.

POSTAGE

Please choose additional postage fee:

Royal Mail First Class: £4.00
Royal Mail Second Class: £3.00

OR

Local collection via my house or my record stall (when available) - FREE

I package each record using the 'cardboard and bubble wrap sandwich method.' Sleeve and LP are kept separate within the postage sleeve. It will arrive to your house looking very tasty but please don't attempt to eat it for your dinner. I only recommend popping it on your record player.

INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE

I have offered European and international postage to people on other records which I sell. However one particular continental customer has sent through some horrible feedback and been rather abusive - so I'd prefer to now only ship to somewhere in the UK from here on in. Shame really that we all can't get along. But that's the modern world for you.

It doesn't mean I won't ship abroad but you'll have to send me a message so I can figure out a postage price and whether or not I'm happy to ship this, or any item out to you. Everyone deserves a second chance.

All the best.
