DETAILS: HOLY GRAIL OF PSYCH RECORDS! It is rumoured that only 100-150 copies of this were pressed, so copies are virtually impossible to find these days. You may NEVER see this record again! UNBELIEVABLE MONSTER FUZZ outsider covers of CREAM & JIMI HENDRIX by HIGH SCHOOL BAND MEMBERS! Obviously, this is a super rare record, essential for collectors of rare psych, outsider LPs and private pressings.

Of the many hundreds of teenagers who attended The Midwestern Band & Art Camp of Lawrence, Kansas in the summer of 1968, only four were into rock music. All of the others were into marching band music. These four naturally found one another and played rock music at night and marching band music by day at camp. When the six week camp drew to a close, camp members got to play nightly onstage to entertain the other campers. When The Smack got up to do their set and started to play, the camp director quickly pulled the plug, saying they were too loud! A day later, after the end of camp, The Smack recorded nine tracks in a studio in one afternoon. The four group members then went home to their four respective states and never saw one another again! The studio contracted with RCA to have 100-150 LPs pressed. These were then sent to campers who had signed purchase requests during camp. The nine songs recorded were: Purple Haze, Fire, Sunshine Of Your Love, I'm So Glad, Swalbr, Manic Depression, Set Me Free, For What It's Worth, and Foxy Lady.

ONE OF THE RAREST RECORDS EVER!!!
