Description
Here we have a mega rare Doo Wop classic,the 1959 7'' single from The Skyliners,'Since I Don't Have You'.It was released in March 1959 on the highly collectable London American record label and the catalogue no.is HLB 8829.The B side is 'One Night,One Night'.
The record is in excellent condition and both sides play well.There are no jumps or skips and overall the sound is sharp and clear.The record does have some visible surface marks but these are largely superficial and there is very little audible impact on the sound.There is also a small half inch tear at the top of the label on side A but because the label is black this is not too noticeable.
Because of the surface marks and the tear affecting the appearance of the record we have down-graded it from excellent status as regards the sound to VG+ status overall.
IN MINT CONDITION THIS ITEM IS VALUED BY RECORD COLLECTOR AT A STAGGERING £225 - IN VIEW OF ITS VG+ CONDITION WE HAVE A MUCH LOWER STARTING POINT AND NO RESERVE - THIS IS PERHAPS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR DOO WOP FANS OR LONDON LABEL COLLECTORS TO FILL AN IMPORTANT HOLE IN THEIR COLLECTION !
