THE SHEIKS - Eternal Love b/w Centennial Swing 45
Here's an unbelievable find. Released on Toronto's Raymond Records in 1967, this was the only single by the seminal Jamaican-Canadian R&B act. Although the sublime topside was comped on Light In The Attic's 2006 'Jamaica To Toronto' LP,  the 45 itself appeared undocumented online (although I have now added this copy to the main online resource).  As if that wasn't enough, this appears to be a promotional release for Canada's 1967 Centennial celebrations, although both vocalist Earle 'Mighty Pope' Heedram and guitarist Rupert Valentine Bent went on to fruitful careers
