** 1977 UK A2/B2 early pressing EMI label vinyl LP of THE SHADOWS 20 GOLDEN GREATS compilation. **
** A superb example of this LP - having been played very few times since new. You will not find a much better example of this rare LP anywhere. **
** This LP package includes an original Near Mint example of the SHADOWS / CLIFF RICHARD 1978 UK TOUR BOOKLET, which was never originally included with this LP, and only available at the concerts **
A Near Mint condition disc. Shiny, lustrous vinyl, with no visible surface marks at all. No spindle marks. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, scuffs, scratches, warps, or writing on labels. Very clean labels. Excellent sound quality throughout - clear, punchy sound, with very little surface noise at all. Tested on a Thorens turntable.
Sleeve in crisp, Near Mint condition. Very little wear anywhere. No creasing. No writing anywhere on sleeve. No seam splits anywhere. Spine in very good condition, and all text still clearly visible.
Original Inner Sleeve in Excellent- condition. Would have been graded as Near Mint ,except for a 3cm seam split on one edge. Otherwise, no creases, no writing anywhere, and still crisp.
1978 SHADOWS / CLIFF RICHARD UK TOUR BOOKLET is in Near Mint condition. Still crisp. No missing pages. No writing anywhere. No creasing. No damage or wear at all.
Please check out all photos, as they form a part of the description. Thanks.
GRADING:
All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:
MINT (M):
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
