This is a radio station copy (printed on the label on both sides) of The Searchers recording of "Needles and Pins", b/w/ "Ain't that just like me". The record is pristine and has rarely if ever been played, since it is still in its original sleeve which is in excellent shape, with only minor yellowing from 50+ years of storage. It was obtained by me while working at a radio station in the 1960's. It is on the Kapp label, number K-577. The sleeve has printed on it the following: "RUSH RELEASE, NO.1 IN ENGLAND THIS WEEK THE SEARCHERS NEEDLES AND PINS BACKED WITH AIN'T THAT JUST LIKE ME. "This is the group that knocked the Beatles out of first place in England." AND ITS ON KAPP. Every D.J in the Country is hopping on the Liverpool sound, The Searchers are #1 now". There also are 2 "baloons in each upper corner saying "Special". A great collectable. Thanks for looking.
