THE SCREAMING TRIBESMEN EP
This is the super-rare 1982 debut EP by Brisbane's Screaming Tribesmen, featuring Mick Medew on guitar and vocals, John Hartley on bass (ex Fun Things), and Murray Shepherd on drums (also ex Fun Things and brother of Hoodoo Guru Brad Shepherd). The record contains four tracks of incendiary post-Radio Birdman Australian guitar rock, and it is one of the most sought after indie releases of the early 80's.
This copy is in close to mint condition. The disc itself has no apparent blemishes and plays perfectly, with no obvious pops or surface noise. The cardboard picture sleeve is also virtually perfect, other than very faint ring marks from the record label which are only visible when held up to the light. Even the paper inner sleeve is in pristine condition.
This is one of the best and most collectable Australian punk/indie releases, and you'll be lucky to find a copy in better condition than this one.
