THE SAVAGES “Live ‘N Wild” TOP! Killer Garage Punk Psych re-issue M-

1985/USA/Resurrection Records….. here's a clean copy of this scarce and long out of print lp. The cover is in solid condition with heavy corner bumps/creases/wear, light shelf wear, creases top left side, few light handling creases, surface tears on front cover top right, otherwise the cover is solid and clean with no splits or delete. The vinyl is in clean condition visually with only a couple of light hairline scuffs and minor light storage staining from the inner sleeve. This record was recorded from a dub of a less than perfect copy and plays VG++ with occasional light noise, nothing that distracts from the listening pleasure of this great record. The labels a clean and free of spindle marks but one label has small writing. One of the few ultra-rare garage albums that lives up to the raves you'll come across in specialist fanzines by one of the few groups of the genre that were equally capable of garage raunch and moody, melodic ballads (the Rising Storm were about the only other one in their league in this regard). Don't bother looking for the original LP, which fetches hundreds of dollars on auction lists; the reissue is much easier to find.

GRADING

MINT: I consider New Unplayed or Sealed items only.

M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays very clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.

EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
