Original UK first pressing of The Running Man`s eponymously-titled album, released on RCA/Neon Records (1972).
One of guitar virtuoso Ray Russell`s many side projects, The Running Man is a prime example of UK progressive rock/jazz-rock at its very finest. Quirky but never silly, full of (then) wonderfully fresh ideas and simply fantastic playing by all involved. `Nuff said!
Ray Russell: Guitar, bass guitar, vocals. Alan Greed: Vocals, piano, organ. Alan Rushton: Drums. with Harry Beckett: Trumpet, flugel horn. Gary Windo: Tenor saxophone.

VG+ COVER with a fair degree of general superficial scuffing, ring and edge wear. Please see photos for details.
- Also includes the original custom-printed RCA inner sleeve in EX++ condition, with no seam splits or creasing.
MINT- RECORD. In stark contrast to the cover, the record itself is in highly collectable, near-mint condition!
- Play-graded, an immaculate record with virtually no crackle between tracks or any other impairments.
- Visually superficial scuffing from sleeve removal (plastic!) only.
- Perfect labels with no visible spindle wear at all.
- Matrix stamps read "AGBS0736-1E", respectively "AGBS0737-1E", making this an original, very first UK pressing.
