TITLE/INFO: OK, I'll be listing more old and rare 45's these next few weeks, as well as more early '50's-'60's EP's and LP's, so if you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" please continue to check in on my site - and thank you in advance. I'm at the end of my Rolling Stones 45/PS sell-off, as this very 1st 45/PS release by the group is the last I have to list - but I do have one more early Beatles 45/PS to list yet. This rare and hard to find, Buddy Holly classic is entitled "Not Fade Away/I Wanna Be Your Man" (which was written by Lennon and McCartney) from 1964 -their very 1st 45/PS released anywhere. In my opinion, the entire package is in excellent overall condition,  but please see the pictures above and read on as there are a couple of slight issues to mention. LABEL INFO: This original, purple and white, London Label (45-9657) is extremely clean and nice with nothing in any serious need of a mention at all. I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little actual play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice, and again, there is nothing really negative to mention. In my opinion, it looks just about as clean as the day it was first pressed. PICTURE SLEEVE: This super rare, hard to find, and highly collectible picture sleeve is also quite nice, but not quite perfect. If you look closely enough in the pictures above, you will notice some light wrinkles or crease lines in places, especially along the open edged top seam. In addition, there are some very early signs of light ring wear, limited primarily to one side only. These issues do slightly effect the quality of the sleeve, but in my opinion, it is "just slightly". Other than all this however, I believe the rare sleeve is in really nice overall shape, but again, please see the pics above and make your own decisions. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this collectible Rolling Stones record and picture sleeve package is both rare and quite nice, so please have at it.
