THIS IS A MEGA RARE ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION,COMPLETE MONO FIRST PRESS WITH VIRTUALLY MINT COVER,MINT POSTER,UNSPLIT INNER AND SUPERB NEAR MINT DISC...ONE OF THE BEST COMPLETE PACKAGES YOU WILL SEE!!
Cover
The original stickered cover is SUPERB!! and grades as a super NEAR MINT...with no tears, stickers, writing or bad ring wear. The front has no laminate damage and no bad creases (no half moon creases)..just a few tiny ones on the edges. The corners are sharp and not rubbed or rounded and the opening has no fethering and the sticker is firmly attached and is not coming loose. The back which has the "peep " hole is just as clean with no major ring wear, near the opening there is just very slight record indentation but this is not bad.Seams and spine have no splits and the spine text is fully readable
A TRULY FANTASTIC COVER
Poster
The original poster has never been hung on a wall and is in MINT condition
Inner sleeve
The uncensored let it bleed inner sleeve has no splits and is in EXCELLENT++ condition, just the usual creases where the record has been inside and as you can see in the scan the top of one of the flipbacks has come slightly away
Labels
The red decca unboxed labels are in NEAR MINT condition with no major damage just faint and small spindle marks around the hole
Record:
The record has full gloss and shine with no groove wear and is unwarped and is AMAZING!!...in normal light it LOOKS MINT..its that good!!,only under very strong light and when tilted at different angles you can see some faint hairlines..there is no bad fingernail scratches at all,i would grade a strong EXCELLENT++ (but i feel a lot of people would grade Near mint!!)
I have played it all the way through and the sound is mostly excellent with no loud crackles or pops and of course it does not stick or jump,in some quieter passages like on "love in vain" and between tracks you can hear some static crackle.I feel that if it was cleaned on a proper machine it could get rid of this as the record is 43 yrs old and it is only natural that light bits of dirt will get on it
ALTOGETHER THIS IS A STUNNING FIRST PRESS COPY!!
