Description

I am selling my Rolling Stones collection and this is one of my rarest records! The Rolling Stones "Welcome to New York" on Trade Mark of Quality Records #RS 546. The concert date is 7/26/1972 (Mick's Birthday) and the record was made in 1973 with original artwork by William Stout. This is a soundboard recording. The record is on beautiful Orange vinyl and is in mint condition with green early edition (Straight Pig) labels with silver ink. What makes this record so rare; other than being original TMOQ colored vinyl, is that it has a rare cover with comic character Nancy with a birthday cake saying "Happy Birthday, Mick." This is actually the first record on Wizardo Rekords! The Wizardo brothers used to sell TMOQ records at the swapmeet. They purchased 100 copies of "Welcome to New York" from T.M.O.Q. in Los Angeles and made their own cover for the LPs (glued on). They used the William Stout cover on the back (loose). I made a 12 x 12 copy of the original TMOQ cover for this LP, in case you prefer it. To sum up, this is an original TMOQ with a Wizardo Records Cover.
