This is a very unique and rare item.
What can only be described as a 'development stage' copy of the self titled 'The Rolling Stones' debut EP from 1964 on Decca Records - DFE 8560.
For the purpose of the photograph only, I have place a standard stock copy of the EP for comparison, this one is not included in the sale, just the unique version.
I found a few of these in a Charity Shop not far from the old Printers located somewhere in London. I assume a local worker had sneaked them out of the printers or maybe it was the designer who took them home to continue work? Who knows? Either way, these incredibly rare and unique 'development stage' EP sleeves probably exist in less then 5-10 copies worldwide, probably even less than that!
