All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if successful.
This record is in fair+ condition. The labels do have lots of spindle marks and spindle rubbing visible but there are no pen marks or major scuffs anywhere. There is some wear to the centre holes but they are not overly loose and overall the iconic Decca labels(variant X) are in decent shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have loads of light scuffs, lines, marks and scratches. It really isnt the prettiest visually but luckily there isnt anything that is really severe or deep. These light lines/marks are clearly visible in normal light and as I say do make the lp look ugly. Despite these lines, marks and very clear signs of use the record has no really nasty marks or blemishes and still has a decent shine.
I play tested the record and it plays surprisingly well. It lays flat with little to no movement in the record arm and the audio produced is not too bad at all. There is a crackle audible in the run in and more or less throughout but a lot of this is masked well by the audio. There are no skips, sticks or loud disruptive clicks, with just a few occasional light clicks and pops audible. So of course the audio is not pristine but I happily sat and listened to the whole play test and didnt find any parts awful. It is most certainly not perfect however so please bare this in mind. However if you are after a cheap, playable UK original with decent audio then this could be the one for you.
The sleeve(variant B1) is in very good- condition. It has wear to the edges and corners but the writing along the spine is legible. Despite this wear they are all strong with no splits or really weak areas anywhere. Other than the edge wear there are no pen marks, tears or scuffs. There is however considerable age related grubbiness to the rear and laminate creasing to the front. There is also ring marks showing on both sides and some general grubbiness/scuffing to the front. Overall the sleeve is solid enough but has age related wear, creasing and discolouring as mentioned. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original poly-lined inner and although solid enough it is fairly tatty. I will include the original of course but will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement.
The record will be packaged in between cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, within 24hrs of payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. Also please check my Ebay feedback for a positive history of record grading, A1 communication and quick delivery times.
