Description

A vinyl gem – September 1965 1st issue from the very first number 1 metal mother.

The runout details on this record are:

Side 1 is ARL – 6973 – 11B & mother at 9 o’clock is 1 and Side 2 is ARL – 6974 – 9A & mother at 9 o’clock is 1

Both sides have been made from the very first #1 metal mother in the manufacturing process.

logo on label is non boxed and this is correct for a 1965 pressing.

Vinyl Grade: VG, a high VG, some gloss, surface covered in short light scratches but no bad looking ones, from the number of scratches some surface noise would be expected.

Sound Quality: excellent sound quality, no noticeable surface noise, no clicks, no pops, just great sound because it is heavy old quality vinyl and the marks cannot be heard, fully play tested.

Cover: good cover, no damage, no edge wear, browning age discoloration, not flat/sort of curved, name written on back.

Labels: clear, some spindle wear.

Records graded directly under very bright table light for the visual grade. Sound quality checked by playing to ensure that visual grade and sound quality are consistent.

Mint M and Near Mint NM: Looks perfect as new. N and NM is only appropriate for new reissue records and not for vintage vinyl that has been played, regardless of how perfect it may look.

Excellent Plus +EX: Lovely gloss, no visible scratches, scuffs or marks. Has been played but has been handled well and still in great condition. (highest grade that I use for vintage vinyl)

Excellent EX: Lovely gloss, shows some slight signs of wear, including light trace/hairlines from the inner sleeve, light scuffs or very light marks that you would not expect to hear as surface noise.

Very Good Plus +VG: Shows a few more very light marks than is allowable for EX so not quite EX. These signs of use would be expected to cause some light surface noise but not to detract from the music.

Very Good VG: Shows light scratches and marks and some that you would expect to cause surface noise, especially in soft passages, between tracks and during a song?s intro and ending but not so much as to overpower the music which can still be enjoyed.

Very Good Minus -VG: Shows significant wear and marks that you would expect to cause noticeable surface noise that detracts from the music.

Good G: In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records lacking much of the original gloss and with many scratches and marks that you would expect to cause very noticeable surface noise and clicks/pops that seriously detract from enjoyment of the music.

Postage: I package very very well and only charge the actual Aust Post cost. Aust Post now includes insurance with compensation up to $100.
