This is a RARE transitional press of The Rolling Stones No.2. The 1st sleeves were printed with 'blind man' text on the rear, however this was considered offensive and a decision was taken to remove it on all new presses. A few sleeves had already been printed but not distributed, so the edited back sleeve was censored by pasting over the rear panel. Only a few of these sleeves exist and even fewer are in decent condition, however this sleeve is in rare Excellent shape.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. There is a sensational jet black gloss, every track gleams. There are no significant signs of play, the grooves show no wear at all. There is just one tiny mark and a couple of wispy hairlines. The label is also superb, the red is exceptionally bold and the text is immaculate. There is the slightest spindle wear. The vinyl is in fabulous condition and is complete with the original inner sleeve.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There is superb separation and clarity, just moments of slight noise but this is insignificant - it plays just as was intended over 50 years ago! 
The laminated pasted 'British Celanese' sleeve is in Excellent condition. This sleeve is so delicate and often worn but this sleeve is solid, bright and very clean. The laminate is completely flat with only the very slightest crease, the colours are still rich and unfaded and the edges are firm. The back of the sleeve has very slight discolouration but the white is still crisp, the text is sharp and the pictures are clear. The earliest pinched spine is firm with clear text.
