All of my records That I'm selling are from my own personal collection that I have collected and cherished for over 45 years and which have been generally kept and looked after to the highest standard. All Records that I do offer will have NO Warps,Jumps, sticks, writing on covers or labels unless clearly stated in descriptions.
Vinyl Condition: VG+ Visually the vinyl is in near excellent Condition - This 1st Press Vinyl at least has not been played to death and destruction like most - Has been carefully played a minimal amount of times over the early years but shows generally nothing but only light use over the last 47 years - With NO needle mark scratches or any other bad marks that I can visually see or detect on close inspection that will affect the Audio Playback - When examined more closely under a strong light it only reveals a few mild light hairlines across surfaces and some usual insignificant disc inner sleeve removal feint wispy light lines and light scuff marks here and there that absolutely doesn’t affect the Excellent audio playback (this doesn't in anyway detract from the overall near excellent condition on both sides) - The vinyl lays totally flat on a moving turntable still retains all its original jet black shiny gloss like sheen and lustre - It would be very hard these days to find a vinyl copy of this 1st MONO Pressing Record that plays without any problems! - It’s a Great Example!!!
Please Note: This record has been stored away and not touched or cleaned for most of it's 47 years it would obviously benefit from a professional clean before play as to reduce further any light static crackle that may be still present
AUDIO PLAYBACK ASSESSMENT: - SUPERB UNINTERRUPTED CRYSTAL CLEAR CLARITY AND POWER ON AUDIO PLAYBACK END TO END - Audio is Graded as VG+ to EX - This vinyl visually looks like its not been played excessively and shows NO heavy marks or scratches and still looks a well cared for example - There are No major Clicks, pops, skips, jumps or repeats and shows No other annoying audio noise distortions during playback If I'm going to be Ultra Critical whilst listening through the playback you may get occasionally when the very quiet tracks begin to play or on the start of run ins and inbetween tracks and the very quieter elements of audio playback or if at all you may get some very light clicks or static crackle for a few seconds and then it just fades away but absolutely nothing of any real consequence on this 47 year old Classic that will spoil your overall enjoyment of this exceptional Iconic Classic Album - Overall its still a Superb listening Experience that you would expect from a MONO 1st PRESSING with a Brilliant overall Dynamic Audio performance!!!
Labels Condition: EX Visually they both look very clean unmarked and Immaculate in apperance - Some evidence showing of Spindle usage marks/trails across the Labels with No real wear around the spindle hole which still looks in Superb condition its very evident that when it was ever played it was done so very carefully as there is only mild minimal traces showing of audio play usage to be seen!!!
Cover Condition: VG+ Original 1st issue Laminated with 'Clarifoil' front non-flip cover version -Back of sleeve Printed in London by MacNeill Press - The Glossy Laminate front on this very intact well kept example still looks in very sound order with some usual laminate surface creasing across the front but still in very clean very acceptable condition - Showing all its original bold sharp vivid colour picture of the 'Stones' and the Matt Black & White back of cover is in nice presentable condition - The only blemishes visually are some yellow /brown ageing disclolouration stain mainly around the edging also some small laminate edge & corner creases and mild corner bump wear done during the storage process - This is a still a very respectable and tidy 1st Press issue cover showing only minimal wear - NO tears, rips, splits, ink writting, stickers.
Spine Condition: VG+ The laminated spine overall is still clean and intact - With all written text still showing to be bold clear legible and perfectly worded with the only signs of ageing is a few small usual laminated creases across the sides of spine and a little light storage rub wear at each end of spine
Inner Sleeve: EX The Original Decca Handling/Playing mauve text white record company sleeve is still in amazing very clean intact condition and shows no evidence of any real handling wear over it's lifetime - NO Tears,Splits,Ink Writting,Stickers or other bad Blemishes apart from the usual yellow/Brown aging tinges across the sleeve and the usual corner creases
I'm currently sorting through some of my other Rarer vinyl records that have been played only a few times which are mainly UK 1st PRESSINGS - Which are mostly in Excellent to Mint Condition - Mainly due to the Covers/Vinyl have been kept in plastic covers and Stored in a Cupboard for all of their Lifetime!!!
