ROLLING STONES FULLY SIGNED 1965 MONO VINYL LP - 'THE ROLLING STONES NO 2'   DECCA LK4661 ROLLING STONES "Rolling Stones No.2" Original 1965 UK 12-track MONO Vinyl LP Rear Sleeve Fully Autographed By All Five Band Memebers   The Mono vinyl LP is on the red label Decca label, catelogue number (LK4661) and comes with a certificate of authenticity from More Than Music Ltd.           This forty six year old Long Player contains the clear signatures of all five band members!              Mick Jagger: lead vocals, harmonica, tambourine, percussion.   Brian Jones – guitar and slide guitar, backing vocals        Keith Richards: guitars and backing vocals.                               Charlie Watts: drums and percussion
Bill Wyman – bass guitar and backing vocals   The Rolling Stones No. 2 is, pretty obviously from the simple title, the second UK album by The Rolling Stones. Released on 15th January 1965 it followed the massive success of 1964's debut The Rolling Stones and followed its predecessor's tendency to largely feature R&B covers. However, it does contain three compositions from the still-developing Mick Jagger/Keith Richards songwriting team: “What a Shame”, “Grown Up Wrong”  and  “Off the Hook”   A huge hit in the United Kingdom upon release, The Rolling Stones No. 2 spent 10 weeks at #1 in early 1965, becoming one of the year's biggest sellers in the United Kingdom. According to Bill Wyman in his book 'Stone Alone: The Story of a Rock'N'Roll Band,' John Lennon said of The Rolling Stones No. 2: "The album's great, but I don't like five-minute numbers."   Whilst using the same David Bailey cover shot that had graced the U.S issued '12 X 5' album two months earlier, only four songs (Under The Boardwalk, Suzie Q, Grown Up Wrong and Time Is On My Side) overlap on the two albums.
Rather, Rolling Stones No. 2 offered seven songs that weren't to make it out in America until four months later on 'The Rolling Stones Now!' It also includes one of the group's best blues covers, their version of Muddy Waters' I Can't Be Satisfied, which wasn't released in America until 1973 and features some killer slide playing by Brian Jones. The U.K. LP was originally released in mono only.       The album sleeve is in VERY GOOD (vg) condition. The reverse shows age toning and a small half inch split to the spine edge, but the Autographs are clear, the disc is in VERY GOOD plus (vg+) condition, with light surface scratches.   THANK YOU for expressing an interest in this Auction.
