The Rolling Stones - Let it Bleed original press vinyl LP, 1969 US release on London Records label, ARP Pressing
Complete with original poster in NM condition and an original 1969 fan club flyer, great for a Stones fan/collector
Graded as VG, I've based this on the Goldmine Grading Guide which states this to be: The items defects will be more pronounced. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music. Wear will start to be noticeable, such as with light scratches on vinyl (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels, covers, and sleeves may be marred by writing or have tape, stickers, and residue attached. However, a VG item will not have all of these problems at the same time.
I've played tested this album and would summarise as follows but please note every deck is different, thanks.
Vinyl: Side 1 T1 - Crackle on leading intro, occasional crackle through track T2 - Small scratch on T1/T2 transition and initial intro to T2 (see last pic), this gives a click which clears after approx 35 seconds, then light crackle T3, T4, T5 Light minimal crackle Side 2 T1 - Crackle on intro, light crackle and a few pops on quiet passages T2, T3, T4 - Light crackle with occasional pop Vinyl is nice and bright, there are some light surface marks, virtually no spindle marks on the labels Matrix XZAL-9363-2 ARP logo, XZAL-9364-2 ARP logo NPS-4
Outer Sleeve: Matt finish, light rub to front and rear, spine has wear with small split at base, opening has slight edge rub and small split to top opening (alas the original shrink with hype sticker long gone) Inner Sleeve: Pink paper lyric inner, has split to side and base, approx 7cm and 8cm
Has the spelling error of Gimmie Shelter on Label/Sleeve/Inner
Poster: Original poster, unused and is virtually mint
Flyer memorabilia: Original 1969 Fan club flyer, this has got blue tac residue on the back, also one pin hole on the top, rare item though.
