Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my 60’s beat and psych and some 70’s progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare U.K. MONO EXPORT pressing of The Rolling Stones – Flowers on the RED UNBOXED and GROOVED Decca label, cat. no. LK 4888.
The record is in VG condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and a sounding scratch through which starts in the track “Out of Time” and continues into “My Girl”. There are some other visible marks, but they were not audible on my record player. The labels are in VG condition, there are some spindle marks, some very slight wear along the spindle holes, the previous owner’s initials are written on the side 1 label and there is a tiny sticker tear also on the side 1 label.
This cover is in VG condition, on the front there is a crease in the top left hand corner and there is a tear on the opening edge of approx. 2.5 centimetres on the opening edge. The back has some very slight ring wear in the top section, but further this cover looks very presentable to me; there is no writing, no rips or tears or other damage than mentioned.
The record comes with an original Decca “Important, The Record and The Equipment” inner sleeve, which is in VG+ condition. Besides the usual handling wear there is some age browning and there is a tiny tear on the die cut hole.
This is an almost impossible to find U.K. UNBOXED MONO EXPORT pressing of the Rolling Stones’ Flowers album. Although not mint, this copy is still a good playing copy. This U.K MONO copy of The Rolling Stones’ Flowers album was pressed in very tiny amounts, a very rare opportunity to own a impossibly rare Rolling Stones Export only album, a real opportunity for all Rolling Stones fans to complete a life time collection!
