The Rolling Stones were sweeping around the world making hit after hit and promoting their style of brash blues-based rock & roll music, having begun composing and straying from basis blues covers.
DECCA in England prepared export releases for European countries with some changed covers and track orders, but rather than leave these albums to outside pressing plants they distributed straight from England to supply shops on the continent.
This album is an example of that, and is now sought after in this UK issue original pressing.
This copy is in TOP shape, superb investment quality!
CONDITION;
The VINYL has perfect shine and the music plays FANTASTIC, loud & clear! Acoustic tones are superb, standing out particularly on 'Lady Jane', the stereo mix is sublime and two instruments compliment each other on each channel. It's like this for the whole album in fact, and this track is a superb example.
Classic DECCA 'FFSS' Labels are NEAR MINT with no stickers or writing, pristine.
The FRONT LAMINATED COVER is lovely. Again Nearly MINT. There are NO handling creases to the laminate, negligible wear evident. The rear is really clean. Slightly wavy, and there is a slight blue smudge at the opening edge, perhaps from the printer (Robert Stace).
Original poly lined inner sleeve included.
