Description

THE ROLLING STONES “Between the Buttons” ffrr M-

1967/Cdn/London PS 499…….. this is a clean original Canadian pressing of this scarce lp. The cover is in EX to M- condition, there is just a bit of wear on lower corners and the left has a tiny bumped corner, otherwise clean and solid with no splits, writing or other issues. The vinyl is in EX to M- with a handful of super light inaudible hairlines, it’s maybe had a handful of plays. The labels are clean with only a couple of light spindle marks. Includes the original London inner sleeve that shows pictures of other popular lp's including the first 4 Stones lp's. The sleeve is solid and clean with light aging and a few light creases. A gorgeous copy for your collection! Please check my auctions for other folk, rock, and psych lp’s, good luck and thanks for looking!

Recorded in two spurts, in Los Angeles in August 1966 and London that November, Between the Buttons caught The Rolling Stones at a period where they were moving more into arty territory and away from their R&B roots. With the release of The Beatles' Revolver, The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds and Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde, as well as their own Aftermath and the accompanying singles during 1966, the parameters of rock music had been expanded considerably.

///GRADING///

MINT: as stated with no defects

M- OR NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition, I also play grade the records on high end equipment and will give an honest play grade as well as visual grade, considering the number of records I buy on line my grading is very conservative and fair.
