Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my 60’s beat and psych and some 70’s progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare German STEREO pressing of The Rolling Stones – Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) on the WINE RED Decca label, cat. no. TXS 103.
The record is in EX condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines and two small non-sounding marks on track 3 on side 2. The labels are in EX condition as well, there are a couple spindle marks on both sides only.
The cover (imported from the U.K.) is in EX minus condition, there is a small crease in the lower right hand corner on the front, there is slight wear along the outer edges and there is a small split on the back of the jacket where the record goes into the cover. The booklet is in EX condition, there is only very slight handling wear. Besides these mentioned imperfections, this cover looks great!
This is an extremely rare German original Rolling Stones album on WINE RED Decca label in extremely great condition. Most of the times when a German copy of he Rolling Stones’ Big Hits album is offered, it has the later red label, original WINE RED labelled copies are very scarce and when you finally find one, it is in completely trashed condition. This copy only had a handful of plays and has survived, and is a real addition to any Rolling Stones Collector! Happy Bidding!
