1968 1st Stereo Pressing
Matrices 1K/ 3K
Sleeve:
It grades as Excellent and I am hard pressed to fault anything with it. There are a few indentations on the rear panel but that is it. It’s the 1st pressing gatefold sleeve and it’s completley intact, almost like new.
This is a very neat example with no writing or writing imprints.
Inner Sleeve: Correct Decca Full Frequency Stereo Sound inner sleeve in perfect condition.
Vinyl: It grades Excellent Plus to Mint Minus, and apart from literally a couple of the ultra-feint superficial lines there is nothing on the surfaces to indicate any play use. The glossy pressing sheen is present all over and it is basically faultless through and through, and I think it would be nigh on impossible to find a better copy.
The Labels: There are a few tiny spindle line traces, probably from the few times it has been played, but other than that they are prefect.
The Audio: If you are looking for a perfect sounding copy, then you have found it. I didn’t get any audible detractions apart from the inevitable light static ticks at the start of each side purely on the run-in’s.
