Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Rolling Stones, Beatles (and related) and 60’s beat records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare South African pressing of The Rolling Stones – 12 X 5 on the RED UNBOXED Decca label, cat. no. LK 4438.
The record is in VG condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and there is a small sounding mark on track 3 on side 1. The labels are in VG condition as well, there are some spindle marks and some very slight wear along the spindle hole on both sides.
This cover is in G (good) condition, all the sides have been sello taped on both front and back, there is some ring wear on the back and there are some creases on both front and back.
This is an extremely hard to find South African pressing of the Rolling Stones’ 12 X 5 album. This album features the rare organ version of Time is on my Side, this version was never released in the U.K. back in the 1960’s. Although the cover is a little beat up, the record still plays great! This is a very rare opportunity to own a very rare Rolling Stones album, a real opportunity for all Rolling Stones fans to complete a life time collection! Happy Bidding!
