Quite sought after and an incredibly important piece of UK radio history. Released just after the Wilson (Labour) Government announced the 'Marine etc Broadcasting Offences Bill' - (later enacted on 14.8.67 as the MEBO Act) with the aim of ending the offshore (pirate) radio stations. These stations in the UK's offshore waters started in Easter 1964 with Radio Caroline and grew in numbers until there were more than 10 stations operating off the UK. It all came to sad end on 14 August 1967 ('No man will ever forget'....."who said that?") with the final closure of all but one of the stations especially Big L Radio London leaving just Radio Caroline which struggled on until March 1968 and then.........but that's another story entirely.
This record was an anthem of the youth of the day...but if you've read this far you will probably know that!
