From my personal collection comes this ULTRA-RARE Ralph Records vinyl LP of the Residents' classic, specially made for the German audience. The problem was that strict German laws forbidding WW II-era symbolism made it impossible to sell the record in West Germany (yes, it was THAT long ago) so this special pressing was made. I bought this directly from Ralph Records via mail order in the late 1980s and, since I had a "regular" copy of the same record, I never opened it.
That's right, in addition to being almost impossible to find, this copy is NEW and FACTORY SEALED!!! The shrink wrap is showing just a bit of wear on the corners, so there are a few micro-tears but it's intact and actually in fantastic shape. There also appear to be a couple of minor dings to the spine, one of which (between the words "THE" and "RESIDENTS") has caused a tiny micro-tear in the paper that appears white. Please see the hi-res photos...this is the only ding that shows up in them, the rest are really minor; I've also included photos of each corner (front cover view). I need to clear out some space, so this gem is in search of a new home.
