Description

Up for grabs an original THE RESIDENTS "God In 3 Persons" 12" double LP vinyl album, 1988 release on TORSO (33061) black label, matrix no.08055369, semi-glossy gatefold cardboard cover with conceptual story inside, eyeball "official product" marked backside (first press/discontinued), original artwork printed inners, made in Holland, condition cover: Near Mint (pen mark on an inner sleeve), vinyl/labels: pristine Mint (actual pics shown, zoom over).

Torso issued right after the group's own Ralph Records shutdown (1987), heralds the post-Snakefinger narrative era (with dedication backside), pilot project to Cube-E set to replace the American Composer series, a Freudian threesome case-study described as "the Residents grow up by discovering sex" (or, the innocence lost after Snakefinger's sudden death/1987, their soul-mate from UK introduced by N.Senada), Laurie Amat Texas-style vocals (her debut collaboration with the band).

Turning point release, first press, defunct label, rare in such condition.

Postage: First class air-mail GBP 9.-
