Up for purchase here is a once-in-a-lifetime collecting opportunity. This is a copy of The Renegades Charge / Geronimo on American International 45. If you are reviewing this auction, you already know how rare and sought-after this Kim Fowley classic is. What makes this copy OUT OF THIS WORLD RARE IS THE FACT BOTH SIDES INCLUDE THE CHARGE LABEL! The Geronimo track is still featured on the second side, but both sides feature identical Charge labels. I can only guess that this was an error that was caught EXTREMELY early in production and removed from circulation. Based on the research I have done on the archive sites, I can't find another like it.
The vinyl shows significant wear on both sides, but plays loudly and still with strong presence. It plays with static throughout and a few pops, but overall still an enjoyable listen. I would visually grade the vinyl in the G-G+ range, but most of both tracks plays more into the VG- range. THE VINYL HAS ALSO BEEN CLEANED VIA A VPI 16.5. Outstanding filler or DJ copy, but with the added rarity that your friends won't believe!
