ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! –

A wonderful disc beginning to end, offering up Rca Layton/Mohr recordings of Reiner during his famous tenure with the Chicago. Selections include Ravel's RAPSODIE ESPAGNOLE, PAVAN FOR A DEAD PRINCESS, and Rachmaninoff's ISLE OF THE DEAD.
That said, this is a demonstration record of the first order. Chesky only used tube equipment during the re-mastering without any limiting, then had the release plated by Europadisk and pressed on heavy premium vinyl.
Worthy of any audiophile/music lover's library: Here in a cover without fault, crisp; heavy platter inside will play near mint.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $14 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
