Description
An ultra rare 10" original pressing of The Quick's 1978 Fan Club EP "In Tune With Our Times". This rarity features three songs cut as demos for Elektra Records in 1977, produced by David Campbell (the father of Beck!): "Pretty Please", "You Yeah You" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".
The band wasn't signed to Elektra, so they produced approximately 200 of this EP for their fan club members, each numbered (this copy is #003). Some were signed by the band, but this copy is not. The vinyl is absolutely pristine, but there are some spindle marks, so we're grading it NM-. The original insert is in Mint condition.
When these tracks received some airplay on KROQ in Los Angeles, the band repressed this on 7" vinyl without the song "You Yeah You". That is very rare, but this is the earlier, exceedingly rare first issue, in superb condition.
We grade all records visually, cover first, then disc; using the abbreviations M / NM / EX / VG with + and -. We try to describe everything as accurately as possible, and spot check any vinyl flaw that looks like it might make a sound. We regularly receive praise for our grading, but as all grading is subjective, we are happy to give a full refund for anything you aren't happy with no questions asked.
Unlike some eBay sellers, we don't feel the need to hype records by including long reviews or albums, quoting lyrics, making up arcane variations. We just grade accurately, describe any flaw, and sell only high quality rare records in fine condition.
