RARE 1965 ORIGINAL MONO UK FONTANA VINYL LP

Label / Catalogue Number - FONTANA / TL 5239

CONDITION:

RECORD -  GOOD+  Visually the record has a lot of light scuffs and surface marks, especially when held under harsh light.  These have very little affect on playback, which for the most part just has some light crackle between the tracks.  There is a small scratch on Oh Baby Doll which causes a few clicks.   There are no jumps, sticks, distortion or repetitive loud clicks.  The record plays well throughout with some surface noise.  It is still an enjoyable listen.  This record has been play graded throughout.

The photos of the playing surfaces have been took with the camera flash on, to give some idea of how they look, but they are also a bit harsh due to the camera glare.

LABELS - EXCELLENT  The labels have spindle trail around the centre hole, but no writing, tears or other faults.

SLEEVE - GOOD  The sleeve is in good condition, using Record Collector grading.  The front has creasing and the sleeve has wear, especially around the edges, with some old sellotape marks that are not sticky.  It is still a presentable sleeve that just shows it's age. Please see the photos for condition.  The record is still in it's original inner sleeve, on which the original owner has pencil drawn Phil May, musical instruments and song titles.  She clearly loved this album and band.  I think it has a real period charm and is part of the history of this 55 year old record.
