Description
Here are both Poppy Family albums, both original US first pressing LPs on London. Songwriter Terry Jacks (Seasons in the Sun, later) and his singer sister Susan Jacks doing the most lovely folky pop just dripping with the feel of that magical era... First is Which Way You Goin' Billy? released in 1969 in Canada but not until 1970 in the US; London PS-574. Still in the shrinkwrap with a Pay Less price sticker, for those of you who remember that long-gone chain... the disc is beautiful and plays just about flawlessly and beautifully. There are a couple of very light superficial scuffs but they don't affect the play at all. The cover has just a touch of light wear at the open edge, but barely. This is a top copy for sure. The second is Poppy Seeds, 1971 London PS-599. The condition is the same on this one. The textured cover is not in shrinkwrap but is absolutely beautiful. There is a cutout hole at the top right, and some very light edgewear but really nothing much at all. This is a lovely copy. Both are top original copies that will be quite hard to beat. Just beautiful.
