FOR SALE THE MEGA RARE ORIG PRESSING OF THE 7" SINGLE BY THE BAND..THE POLICE..CALLED..
NOTHING ACHIEVING/FALL OUT,,,,THIS IS A COPY OF THE MEGA RARE 7" WITH THE UBER RARE ORANGE P/S,,THERE WERE ONLY 100 COPIES OF THIS RELEASED BY THE UK FAN CLUB IN 1983 AND IT COME'S ON ILLEGAL RECORDS (IL 001) DISC CONTAINS THE THREE COLOUR-STRIPE (white/light grey/grey) labels.
Outlandos newsletter December 1983 mentions that they had just re-printed 100 singles - this is probably the orange & black cover lot. ,,,,,THIS AS GOT TO BE THE NO.1 POLICE RARITY,,,I'VE BEEN ASKED TO SELL THIS MANY TIME'S AND FOR GOOD MONEY BUT ALWAYS REFUSED,,,BUT NOW IT'S TIME TO SELL IT ON AND LET SOMEONE ELSE ENJOY IT,,,,SO DON'T MISS IT IT'S MY ONLY COPY AND WHEN WILL YOU SEE ANOTHER COPY TURN UP FOR SALE AND ESPECIALY IN THIS CONDITION,,THE WHOLE THING IS NEAR AS MINT AS YOU COULD GET IT.......................
The etched matrix no.s are IL 001 A 2 RAYS and IL 001 B - 2 RAYS
The vinyl is in Near Mint condition with no scuffs, scratches or other blemishes. The labels are spotless with no stickers, stains, spindle lines, writing, or scuffs.
The thick card, slightly textured, picture sleeve is also in Near Mint condition with no faults that I can find..
