Description

Very nice copy of the Police's special promo badge shaped picture disc 45 single of Message in a bottle. Features the official single release on one side, and a live version on the other. Disc is in excellent shape, looks unplayed, I've owned it since the 80's, and never played it, but don't remember if it was new when I bought it. Very light sleeve scratches, the record comes in a cardboard folder, which fits a little loose, so the record can move inside there. The folder has light shelf wear, and a small spot above the police sticker on the front cover, where a price sticker was poorly removed. The Police issued three of these badge shaped disc's, and they were very popular when they came out. The toughest is the first, Roxanne. the other is Zenyatta Mondatta, which is also up for sale in my other auctions. 
     I am a long time collector of vinyl and comic books, but stopped selling on ebay in 2021 because of their failure to protect sellers from bad buyers. My collection at that time was huge, and I wholesaled it to Anthony Snyder, [Anthony's Comic Art], who has been selling it since then under the name, "The Fisherman Collection". I did not sell Anthony everything, because I wanted to hold on to certain comics, signed hardcovers, and records that I really liked. After 50 years of collecting I am going to be selling some more of these items, [some are collector holy grails] so check back as I list more items. This item will not be discounted, the starting price will be the lowest I will take, you can use the higher buy it now if offered. I do not end auctions early, don't ask.
