You are bidding on one of the most sought after UK LP Police Test Pressings. UK Police Test Pressings are very hard to find, and this (along with Reggatta) is the hardest to find.
THE POLICE GHOST IN THE MACHINE UK LP AMLK 63730 A&M Records Test Pressing  In CBS Stickered Factory Sleeve
This is an A&M Library archive copy, where the vinyl is UNPLAYED from when it was pressed, so NEW condition, along with the labels which are perfect. I originally obtained this copy direct from the ex-Marketing Director at A&M Records back in 2008 and where I bought most of my rare Police UK Records from, as he was a fan of the band, so he never played anything, when he was given all things Police by the CBS Pressing plant, as he used to get a Test Pressing copy of every forthcoming release at A&M, so anything by the Police, he took from the Library when A&M closed in 1998. The A side label has POLICE A written on the label by CBS, which is the exact same handwriting written on most UK A&M 7"/12"/LPs (including the factory sleeve of my one off copy of Message In A Bottle UK 12" Test Pressing) So a genuine legit copy, direct from the A&M Marketing Director, so this is direct from the source. I am downsizing my Police collection and have listed (and will be listing) some of the rarest Police Records in the world. The sticker on the factory sleeve is MINT and the sleeve itself is a strong NEAR MINT.
This Test Pressing has been stored in a resealable sleeve since purchase and in a protective sleeve since 2008. So it's in the same condition since it was bought from the A&M guy.
You will not find anouther mint/unplayed Test Pressing, where only 4 copies have come up for sale since 1981, including this mint copy.
