THE PINK FLOYD - APPLES AND ORANGES b/w PAINT-BOX (C 23 674) original 1967 German pressing PICTURE SLEEVE!
A super RARE find - this is Pink Floyd's 3rd single release from November 1967. It's the final record SYD BARRETT recorded with the group shortly before his departure, and was a non-LP track.
Sleeve is in pretty good shape considering its age - there's a mild ring-impression more prevalent on the rear, some minor light creasing around the corners and a piece of transparent sticky tape on the L/H edge along approximately 2/3rds of the sleeve. It's actually all fairly non-offensive - and when placed inside the protective outer sleeve it really does look pretty good. Please study the pictures closely for your best evaluation. VG+ Vinyl itself is in fair condition - no serious scratches or defects, however under bright light there is all-over hairlines typical of a single from this era which has been kept in a paper sleeve with no protective liner. Biro written initials on both labels (see pics). conservative VG, probably closer to VG+
I've tried to describe all flaws in detail here, however it's actually not as bad as it might sound. This is a very acceptable copy of this RARE 45 - especially considering the picture sleeve is completely intact and free of graffiti and tears. Please study the pictures carefully and don't hesitate to message any questions. A very difficult item to accurately value, so make me a sensible offer and it will be thoughtfully considered!
