Not long after the Farraghar brothers started this group and signed to Dot Records Inc. they were given the honor of recording the theme song to an upcoming t.v. sitcom called THE BRADY BUNCH!
They were on the first season's intros only. Later, they Peppermint Trolley Co. were assigned to ACTA RECORDS, a Dot offshoot label for more rock/psych orientated acts like THE AMERICAN BREED, THE OTHER HALF, and NEIGHBORHOOD CHILDREN. Their lone album is a wonderful hodgepodge of lite watered-down psychedelia with glimmering harmonies and cute keyboards, flutes, and orchestration. Their cover of Paul Williams' "Trust" (also found on Paul's debut lp) is the album's centerpiece for sure. Although the single "Baby You come rolling cross my mind" is a close second.
The entire album is perfect with the times, but after a few more non-lp singles, the group dissolved.
