Description
Near mint recording found in the vault of W. R. Reardon, a fastidious collector with strict rules - no touching, no smoking, no animals. Vinyl has no scuffs, scratches or spindle hole wear. Minor label wear (around spindle hole on side 1) - (see photos). Jacket, in shrink wrap, has no cut outs or corner wear. Very small punch hole (top left). Some discoloration and aging areas. Two stickers on front shrink (see all photos).
The Paris Sisters were a 1960s girl group from San Francisco, best known for their work with producer Phil Spector. The group consisted of lead singer Priscilla Paris; her older sister, Albeth Paris; and their middle sister Sherrell Paris. They reached the peak of their success in October 1961 with the hit single "I Love How You Love Me." Working with Reprise starting in 1965, they waxed a series of singles culminating in 1967 with Sing Everything Under The Sun, the definitive album of their career. Among the tracks were four Priscilla Paris originals plus chestnuts from Gerry Goffin and Carole King, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weill, and the estimable Burt Bacharach. Anchored by Priscilla's seductive purr, the Paris Sisters stamp these songs with their smooth-but-sexy trademark.
