THE OSU BAND "LIGHT UP MY FIRE c/w MERRY-GO-ROUND" UK SHAKA XAKA2 7" NEAR MINT # Rarer than Rocking Horse shit is this ORIGINAL (not re-press or bootleg) highly sought after Brit Funker from 1983, from my own personal record collection and originally bought by me back in the day. Since then it's been housed in a plastic-lined cardboard sleeve and there isn't a mark on the vinyl at all. Audio-wise, it has no appreciable surface noise and is pretty much perfect. All things considered I would rate this as NEAR MINT (a bootleggers dream)! In fact I've bought "new" slates in less wondrous condition as this, as I'm sure you have! The label is completely unmarked too.
I have no hesitation in grading this platter as NEAR MINT as I reckon it's the closest you'll get to a mint copy after 35 years and if you're a vinyl collector I bet you've bought "new" vinyl in the past in worse condition that this little beauty!! Unlike most other sellers I am:

Hopefully this gives you an indication I like to be dead accurate in my descriptions - you can hear for yourself! Musically it has a vibe somewhere between Vaughan Mason And Crew's "Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll" and Sun's "Radiation", topped with an Eddy Grant-ish vocal - it's a blinder!
