Description
This is a 1967 single, HERBST # 527..."Without You" and "Hey Gyp" by "The Orphans", a well-known Eastern Iowa Garage Band, that evolved from Al's Untouchables.
It's a radio station air-play copy, with a circular sticker indicating tempo and daypart play on side "A". Side "B" also had a circular sticker at one time, which was removed when that side was taken from the playlist in order to focus play on the "A" side.
It has no scratches or cracks. However, it has some slight surface noise, and a few clicks and pops. Call it a "G" or better. HERBST # 527 was apparently never actually released. Most of the limited pressings made for the band were reportedly destroyed.
This record is unique! It is THE copy that was played at the time by the legendary rock station in the band's hometown, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. And it is still in very nice condition!
This copy was delivered personally to the station by one or more of the band members. A common practice for local bands at the time.
It will be carefully packaged and shipped first class and insured, of course.
